THE THOUGHTFUL ENTREPRENEUR PODCAST
In this episode of the Thoughtful Entrepreneur, your host Josh Elledge speaks with Marketing Coach and Podcast Host of The Recognized Authority, Alastair McDermott.
Alistair McDermott focuses on helping others through determining their specialization and making an authority content plan. Alastair explains the stages of gaining authority in business. Within the novice stage, one must gain experience and figure out the things they prefer over others. At this point, one can still have a successful business through referrals and word of mouth. Alistair explains that to go further, you have to focus on a specific field, which can be scary to decide as it can cut off other areas of possible connections or revenue. Alastair explains that results come from consistency and a routine over a significant period of time. This is important as it gives others more trust in a business. Alistair says that time and experience is important to creating a good image for yourself or business.
