David shares his passion for helping people and organizations overcome the unknown and take the next step towards self-improvement and betterment by developing leadership attitudes they can adapt. He says that everything we do – trying to improve ourselves, achieving success, overcoming adversity – is usually the result of two things: fear and pain. He explains how to deal with pain and fear the right way, and how to adopt the right attitude in an organization.

David also provides practical advice on how today's leaders can better instill organizational values ​​in their organizations. He explains the importance of understanding what motivates people of each generation, and shares the importance of having an alignment of values ​​in an organization. He believes people are happiest when you're in tune with them, when you know you respect them and understand things about them beyond what they can bring to the table.

About David Nordel: Dave Nordel is a retired United States Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant with over 30 years of service. He is a registered nurse and emergency manager, and served as a medic in areas of operations that include Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South America, Iraq, Korea, Japan, and Hungary.

Dave grew up in rural Northern California in a dairy farming community and experienced all that brings to a young man raised in the late 60s and 70s. Dave left home at age 19 to join the Air Force and ascended through the enlisted ranks to culminate as the Senior Enlisted Leader for all nuclear missile forces in the United States.

He has vast experience leading small groups and large organizations and has led city government activities and large organizations as an emergency manager for multiple communities through Covid and other disaster situations. Dave currently lives in Billings, Montana, and is an outdoorsman, a mentor, and speaks to young leaders to aid in their development and future successes. He continues to give back the gifts he has collected along the way.
