THE THOUGHTFUL ENTREPRENEUR PODCAST

1984 – The Power of Configurator Software and Digital Showrooms with Sinaholz’s Sina Meshkani

Transforming the Kitchen and Wardrobe Manufacturing Industry

In a recent episode of “The Thoughtful Entrepreneur,” host Josh engages in a thought-provoking conversation with Sina Meshkani, the founder of Sinaholz. Sinaholz is a pioneering company that offers configurator software designed to streamline the design and production processes for kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers. This episode delves into the innovative solutions provided by Sinaholz, the importance of customization, and the role of 3D visualization in the industry, especially in the wake of changing consumer behaviors post-pandemic.

Josh kicks off the episode by inviting listeners to explore opportunities for connecting with partners, investors, and clients. Drawing from his extensive experience, having spoken with over 2,000 industry leaders, Josh shares insights on achieving 100% inbound marketing without relying on spam, ads, or sales tactics. He promotes a free video resource available on his website, which outlines these strategies that have helped him generate significant revenue over the years. As the conversation shifts to Sina, Josh expresses excitement about his work and the elegant platform his company has developed. Sina, with 24 years of experience in kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing, explains his mission to share his expertise with other businesses. He describes how his company’s configurator software automates the entire process from sales to production, allowing for customization that meets the demands of today’s market.

Josh prompts Sina to elaborate on the elements of his platform, encouraging him to explain it in a way that resonates with listeners who may not be able to visualize the technology. Sina uses a relatable analogy, asking listeners to imagine a kitchen manufacturer receiving a request for a customized kitchen design. He explains that customers often gather ideas from various sources and expect a comprehensive plan that includes 3D visualizations, quotations, and shop drawings. Sinaholz’s configurator software addresses this need by providing a seamless environment for designing, estimating, and visualizing projects, ultimately sending the finalized designs to the factory. Josh highlights that Sinaholz primarily serves the B2B sector, working with kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers rather than individual consumers. Sina confirms this, noting that while they can connect individual clients with suppliers, their main focus is on supporting businesses in the industry.

Com to a friend that's listening, you're probably going to want to follow along, because what we're going to be talking about is pretty visual based on what cenotes does.

Speaker 1 00:01:27 Scene, it's great to have you.

Speaker 2 00:01:29 Hey, Josh, it's a great opportunity for me to see you live. Actually, I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 00:01:37 Hey. Well, you know, I'd love for you to describe the work that you do, who you serve. And again, we'll talk a lot about your platform here, which is, which is quite, quite elegant. It's quite beautiful.

Speaker 2 00:01:50 Thank you. Thanks, Josh. if I want to, make it a very long story short, I should say that, I am trying to convey my 24 of experience of being a kitchen manufacturer and a wardrobe manufacturer to the other businesses. So this is what we are doing because of the solution, that it is developed inside my company that I used to use to use it for my production as a configurator, that it is capable to, handle the process from the sales to the production as an automation, that it is highly required these days. we are just customizing it, fitting it inside every business worldwide.

Speaker 1 00:02:38 Now, so tell me about what this is.

Speaker 1 00:02:43 So for someone who's not able to kind of visually see what we're talking about, do your best to explain, all of the elements of your platform.

Speaker 2 00:02:53 I will tell you. Tell, tell it then describe it during. Yeah, by a story. So consider if you are a kitchen manufacturer and you receive a customer that wants, a design from you for a kitchen. And they wanted customized. And they are gathering ideas from different platforms, and they are just putting them together. And you, they want you to give them a plan, a visualization, some 3D renders and a design that fits their dreamhouse. So why? For doing all these things, you should process a lot of data here. So you need an environment to design it 3D and also at the same time get the quotation estimations, shop drawings, visualization and renders and then send it to the factory. So this is what we do. We have a system. We have a configurator software that it is capable to do A to Z.

Speaker 1 00:03:52 Yeah. and so who is it that you are working with now again most of your business is B2B. So generally consumers aren't going to seeing a whole. It's necessarily it's it's mostly the industry, right?

Speaker 2 00:04:08 Yeah, it is exactly as you highlighted, Josh. It is the industry. And we work with the carpenters and manufacturers of, kitchens and wardrobes for individuals. we can deliver them the designs that they are looking for and connect them to a supplier. But mainly our business is B2B.

Speaker 1 00:04:30 Yeah. and so, why is what you do is why is this needed? why does the industry, how does the industry benefit from the platform that you've designed?

Speaker 2 00:04:44 Customization. Josh is is a is is highly demanded these days. So even you see in different industries those who are the winners were capable to implement industry for revolution inside their system. That means mass customization, and it means that I can customize the product while I am doing a mass production. So this is highly needed without the software, with without a visualization system, without a system that can assist the designers, the planners, to avoid having any mistakes that can cost them a lot.

Speaker 2 00:05:26 This is not possible.

Speaker 1 00:05:29 And how does your solution improve upon existing tools that are out there? Can you? Do you mind maybe just sharing kind of what was in the market previously and who the senior holds platform is is a better solution for and why that that becomes a more effective tool.

Speaker 2 00:05:50 Maybe I can say it in this way that there are a lot of softwares. They are also doing great things. I don't say that what we have developed as a configurator is doing the only great thing, but maybe the big difference is that because I was a carpenter and also was an IT guy. So at the same time, I have this mix of different experiences together, made something that when I started presenting it to the industry, they all saw that, okay, all the pains are having a killer there. So there is a solution for for every problems that they are facing in their real life. So this is giving them a very different perspective. At the same time, it has an assistant that it is checking and it is based on design because in this industry, design is the driver all the time.

Speaker 2 00:06:46 So by the help of this configurator, you are not limited for any design.

Speaker 1 00:06:53 Yeah. and so, you know, it looks like elements of your platform include, which I really love a pocket showroom. So these beautiful 3D models and renderings of what spaces end up looking like, why is and this kind of going to sound like a dumb question? Because when people see what it looks like or they know, they know that they've, you know, they, they've engaged with a lot of these really beautiful 3D models, and they're virtual and they're all directly on a website. I mean, that is it's it's about today. It's about the closest thing that you can get to actually being in a showroom and touching and feeling and looking and looking at it from different angles. you know, so I've obviously I've kind of let my editorial leanings, you know, kind of, show on that, but do you mind maybe just sharing for a minute why it is so important for folks within the design and, and, you know, and building and, you know, kind of spaces, I don't know what industry you call it overall.

Speaker 1 00:07:59 but but why it's so critical to have these, these kind of these, you know, what look kind of like expensive 3D renderings available for their clients.

Speaker 2 00:08:10 but very nice point you highlighted, Josh, because, we know we all have experiences after the pandemic. The the behavior of the buyers and consumers changed a lot. Changed a lot. Now, many, many showrooms are left and no one is taking a look to them and they are not visiting everyone that wants to buy any item, any stock. First, the source is to search and go to the browser, use a search engine and have the all ideas about it. Then just one shot. They will go and visit it. So it's very, very important. And besides that, we know that nowadays if a business wants to, develop, they should be able to work in a wider range of areas like internationally or different provinces. So they should cover up most of the places. So this solution helps them to reduce their costs. At the same time, they are just like 24 hours, seven days open showroom that the people can come and grab.

Speaker 2 00:09:26 Now it's even. It is integrated with a phone call, like if me as a visitor to a showroom, I'm visiting it. I can just call and have an online meeting immediately via and seeing the process. Yeah. So this is the day. This this is today. This is this is our business now, today everything is. If a business is not digitalized now, I think, they should reconsider this.

Speaker 1 00:09:54 yeah. You know, I'm even seeing. I just I was just looking at, like, you know, you know, these 3D renderings that are interactive. this is this is going to be the norm. I think that more and more consumers are not just going to see this as a nice thing, but they're going when it doesn't exist. Consumers are going to be like, okay, nice pictures, but I don't feel like I'm getting the feel that I am. So, you know, where I saw this being used really effectively was a luxury resort that allowed you to tour the facilities and the rooms, and it was like, oh my.

Speaker 1 00:10:31 So you could like, you know, in your pajamas at one in the morning, you know, you and your partner could kind of like really feel it there. And it's just like you think about what what that does to the conversion process. you know, some of your clients are doing really big transactions. And if you can offer this and you can win some deals that your competition is not able to get because they just, you know, all they can do is just words on a page and maybe some, you know, rendering some simple pictures. Boy, talk about, a wow factor.

Speaker 2 00:11:08 Yeah, it is exactly. Joshua. You're you are highlighting actually the main key points that by giving it very beautiful examples like the people nowadays are very busy for their works to get their routines. So whenever you can give them a service out of their routines, they appreciate it. This is what I realized, and comparing to the cost and the design, that it is changing by season and season. You can have a live showroom all the time, giving all the details that you can to your customers in a very efficient and pocket friendly.

Speaker 1 00:11:50 Yeah. so, Kim, do you mind maybe just sharing a little bit about again, some examples of who your ideal clients are and what does engagement look like. Like how does your offer work?

Speaker 2 00:12:05 We are mainly looking to work with, the wood industry people, that they are manufacturers of, kitchens and wardrobes or let's say furniture, so we can deliver them a full package to have media for their different social media platforms, to have a virtual showroom all the time live. And we will support them with that. And also having the software for processing all their orders through the way, for getting and converting the leads that they are receiving through these media and the platform to be a customer and get the deals.

Speaker 1 00:12:52 Now your website is Cena Holtz again. That's the German spelling of Holt's Holtz holes. It's actually let me spell the whole website. And by the way, Dora Friend that's listing just kind of click in your podcast app, you'll see exactly where this is. Cena, Holtz, Cena holes. I appreciate that you've just been listening to our voices, but but please, go visit so you can see this visually.

Speaker 1 00:13:17 You guys have a really good YouTube channel with a lot of, what this looks like. It is just absolutely gorgeous. And I think it's exciting to think about, like if you're in the industry, being able to provide this to your clients is going to be able to help you, make sure that you're just communicating better about what your capabilities are. And you think about the sales process, just how, how valuable this could be. but yeah, what I was going to ask, is that, you know, you know, when someone goes to your website, what would you encourage them to do?

Speaker 2 00:13:53 I encourage them to book a demo with us so we can share with them different solutions and give them a very quick pitch on whatever we can do them to do for them to gain more customers and to be very, very competitive in their markets.

Speaker 1 00:14:16 Yeah. do they reach out and connect with you? Do they book a tour or do they book a call with you?

Speaker 2 00:14:22 they can just click on the see, book a demo or see a demo.

Speaker 2 00:14:26 So they will connect to the calendars. So they can easily book whenever that is convenient. Me or one of the team members, they will give a full demo for them.

Speaker 1 00:14:36 Love it! Sheena. Connie, founder of Sheena Holts. Again the website seen a.com scene. It's been great having you. Thank you so much for the conversation.

Speaker 2 00:14:46 Thanks, George. Thanks, George. It was a full pleasure. Thank you so much.
