How touch screens change lives with John Lamb
You’ve likely used this product a dozen times without realizing it. What is it and what does it mean for the future? Find out on this episode of The Thoughtful Entrepreneur, featuring John Lamb.
John Lamb is the chief marketing officer at Elo. The company manufactures the touch screens used in fast food chains, restaurants, airports and retailers. If you’ve ever walked into a Taco Bell and ordered at the kiosk, you’ve used an Elo screen.
Lamb said Elo has partnered with a number of companies, including some of the biggest in fast food, in an effort to make things smoother for customers.
For example, when you’re ordering at Taco Bell, you may not really know what all your options are. If you’re ordering at a kiosk, you’ll see each option laid out in front of you and you can customize your meal to your heart’s content.
Along with giving the customer more options, kiosks also makes the store more efficient.
“That allows stores to put more effort and more bodies into getting that order to us faster,” Lamb said.
But what does this mean for the future of ordering food and shopping? Find out by listening to this episode of The Thoughtful Entrepreneur above and don’t forget to subscribe on Apple Podcasts – Stitcher – Spotify –Google Play – Castbox – TuneIn – RSS.
